  • You could just use yellow cake mix for the cake if you would like, then add the milks, then after a while, top with whipped cream and a drizzling of chocolate syrup.

  • Best cake ever - My mom used to make me this cake every year on my birthday It was delicious 🤤

  • "Tiny whisk together" will never not be funny to me.

  • it’s not pronounced DOOLCHE de leche, it’s doolse de leche

  • I feel offended

  • This cake its lacking a lot of milk and normally you leave it in the pan and serve

  • for your benefit, its pronounced "Dool-Seh deh Leh-tcheh"

  • this cake would kill me let's do it

  • If you want an easy way that tastes as good as Porto's tres leches: French vanilla cake mix Can of evaporated milk Can of condensed milk Whipped cream (heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract) And strawberries and blueberries to decorate/add a bit of sour to a sweet cake.

  • Here in Peru many bakeries add Pisco (a traditional peruvian liquor) to this cake. I was wondering how to do that

  • I make my tres leches the same way, however I’m using a combination of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and coconut cream for the soaking milk mixture, and topping it with toasted coconuts and/or pineapples. I also tried it with coconut cream, coconut milk, and condensed milk. Sooo good! And of course, I do single layers, and only inside a cake pan since i know it’s gonna fall apart.

  • Ponele más.dulce de leche pelado trolo

  • What could I use to replace the eggs

  • Trilaçe

  • That was awesome. Funny shit right there!!!💜

  • I already know at 1:27 He stuck that thing in his mouth to get the batter off.

  • For a hot second I thought the title said "tree leeches" 🤦🏻‍♀️

  • We fucking breath that shit in kosovo

  • Tres leches is just soggy cake....soggy cake sucks

  • Wait so these ingredients are for 2 cakes not just one? Alrighty.

  • Tres leche is always at a hispanic birthday party 🥴

  • The top layer is not suppose to have as much leche like the bottom layer, reason why is so it doesn’t fall apart. I’ve learned that the first few times I tried then my grandma told me c:

  • rip the tres leches but if y'all are making dulce de leche, I'd recommend to wait for it to get a thicker, creamier consistency! babish's looked almost too wet? I'd know since i was born eating ddl, as argentinos do

  • No Cakes were harmed in the production in this video... One died off Camera though

  • I had never seen a tres leches with dulce de leche before. Always just cake, tres leches, whipped cream and strawberries.

  • Yess finally man I made one bc i moved to Wisconsin and its so hard to find good hispanic foods

  • I made this for my Spanish project back in December and I can say that I can make a bomb ass Tres Leches

  • Practice. Practice. Practice.

  • Ddaayy

  • Mmmmm Pastel de Tres de leches :y

  • Dulce is pronounced doolseh

  • I’m white so idk of this is a crime or not but I fucking COVER my tres leches with strawberries/ raspberries. I feel like it benefits from the acid considering how rich it is.

  • I need this video in spanish

  • My mom makes the best Tres leches cake lmao

  • "Doolse" not dulche

  • I personally thought Babish did an okay job and I appreciate that he at least TRIED to pronounce them in Spanish. Also, THANK YOU for putting SIMPLE whipped cream on top. It is BLASPHEMY to put any other "frosting" on top of a tres leches. It would overpower everything. We just do whipped cream (with a little sugar) and fresh sliced fruit (strawberry, peach, mango) on top. It should be light and refreshing. Now. Without shaming anyone. Italians make the "ch" sound before an "e". Dulce vs Dolce. (Spanish v Italian). Cs in Spanish are pronounced as "s" if before e and i. Dul-Se de leche.

  • The whipped cream is one of the "leches" in "tres leches" the tres in tres leches doesn't refer to the three (or more, a bunch of different interpretations exist for the soaking mixture) used to soak into the cake, rather the whole mixture is one "milk", as is the whipped cream, and the dulce de leche is the third "milk".

  • Tasted this shit today on christmas day!! THIS SHIT HIT DIFFERENT OMG 🎄

  • " *_DULCHE_* de leche" **_spanish/ hispanic anger_**

  • I love tres leches cake, but I don't know why every non-latino I've seen here on IT-tvs does whipped cream for frosting rather than han Swiss meringue. Nothing against whipped cream thought, I just think that's one milk too many for "tres" leches. (Same with dulce de leche, though I could pass it by since it's basically condensed milk cooked) You should try Swiss meringue for frosting, as an alternative at least

  • Is the recipe in the description for two cakes or one though?

  • Laura R is angry at this. Jokes aside, thanks for the recipe !

  • Just like my grandma used to do it, with peaches instead of strawberries

  • Lmao your hilarious 😆😆😆😆 will try this asap! Ty!

  • Can I ask? Are you sure its 9.75 ounces of flour? Isn't too many?

  • My all time favorite!

  • Babish has a lot different idea of a basic recipe than I do lol. a tiny part of this is stirring frequently for an hour and a half dang

  • Im dumb i read that as tree leeches

  • When u said lubricate the pan I got excited , so can u lubricate my pan? Or pans 💁🏻‍♀️

  • You know, you can make dulce de leche by putting a can of condensed milk in a pressure pan, it's way easier and faster.

  • If you add a lil bit of cream cheese while you are whipping the cream it taste soooooooo freakin good 💕😖

  • Damn Babs that a damn great looking Tres Leches

  • I like when gringos try to say “Tres Leches” 😂

  • I’ve always had two layered tres leche cakes, but they would only soak the bottom layer so the cake wouldn’t collapse

  • I’m craving carbs :((( Keto diet

  • In Albanian we say it "trileçe".

  • Most tres leches I have eaten leave the cake in a container and pour the milks in said container. You can eat the cake and drink as much milk as you wish.

  • Your intro music is always too loud
