Commenti

  • Technology will make us all poor.

  • Meet David at park, to buy drugs

  • Nostalgia

  • If you had old tech gadget in your attic charge it at least twice a month. Don't let them self discharged. i still keep running condition my old motorola A-6188, sony ericsson P990 and sony vaio VGN-UX380.

  • That awful fucking thing is literally a year older than the original iPhone, so it’s not hard to see why Apple swooped in to destroy that market. Samsung wouldn’t be shit today if they hadn’t successfully copied Apple’s designs, and Google hadn’t ripped off Oracle to build the Android OS Thad copies Apple’s software functionality. RIP Steve Jobs, he saved us from this nonsense, and his contribution to society won’t be forgotten.

  • Gosh. You've reminded me my fathers Toshiba e330. Back then in poland having something like that could be compared to space travels. :D

  • This took me back to my Dell Axim I had in middle school.

  • Believe or not, most not supported media is just because it is software rendered. Back then hardware rendering was like ONE specific codec at a specific bitrate and resolution. And those softwares just do software rendering (pretty well actually for a 500 like mhz arm cpu) at the cost of draining your battery really fast!

  • I used to have a Palm m100 pda I used in the very beginning of the 2000s. Plain black LED screen. Complimented my Nokia brick phone nicely. I couldnt get the sync cable to work with the laptop we had at the time but it had IR, so I used to sync it that way. I actually had a pretty cool space trader game on it that I played at school quite a bit.

  • This video just goes to show how ungrateful most people are about modern technology.

  • I remember when these were a thing. Sure didn’t take long for phones to take over as both a pc and a phone

  • 13:47 no, you’re the one who takes everything for granted

  • I had a Pocket PC

  • X-COM was on WinMo. It also supported VNC, so you could VNC into your phone from your desktop.

  • 64GB of ram im not sure about that

  • This video reminds me of my very useful HTC TyTN 2 that was cool like 12 years ago...

  • Setup your palm to your cell phone's hotspot

  • “Start menu is on the top left hahaha” Me look at my desktop - shots fired dude. I do it because it just feels better when the menu drops down rather than shoots up. I know the default is at the bottom but once I changed it it feels so much more natural.

  • Try building a gaming pc in it

  • I miss windows mobile. Man, I need to get a surface.

  • i still have my pocket pc its a dell axim x5 i managed to overclock it to 700 mgz still a good device

  • PDA: Get outta here, STALKER.

  • Can it run Crysis?

  • YOU ARE SO SEX

  • Am I literally the only one who thinks Linus is gay? I'm not being mean either. Every time I watch him in a video my gaydar buries the needle.

  • Good on him for deleting all the naughty videos and images.

  • Only fucking subscriber's

  • After watching this I realized how common touch screen have become these days I mean at that time seeing a touch screen at ATM machine was like magic

  • i had few of these before and i would argue with your statement about the amount of games. There were enough of them. I still remember some: the cloth shop sim, a variation of pong, collection of office themed pc classic, and worms armageddon!

  • 2:33 i see, u are the man of 3gp culture as well

  • I really enjoyed instant messaging on AIM with my pocket pc using the compact flash wifi card.

  • Did you mean bottom-left? (Start menu)

  • my overclocked Casiopeia em505f still works. and it will be a perfect retro gaming item in actual collection, nice

  • I had a Palm, what a time it was

  • oh god do not say pocket pc out loud

  • wait...? from when start button was in bottom RIGHT corner!?!?

  • Still have my Palm Treo with the actually amazing keyboard built in (before touch keyboards). It still works but the charger somehow got corroded and now I can't charge it. Had the Windows CE or 3.? on it. Loved that phone.

  • is it sad my company still uses scanner devices that run on windows mobile? Stylus and all.

  • hp everywhere

  • Are we gonna ignore that Pocket PC is eerily close to pocket pussy or is the joke just so obvious that no one is bringing it up

  • My first "smart" phone had Windows Mobile 6.1, got it in early 2009, shat all over my friends iPhone 3G but the only games were Windows cack like Solitaire and Mahjong and I could only really install Java games haha.. decent though 480*800 resolution which was great at the time, and Microsoft office for doing my college work on the bus. HTC Touch HD, absolute beast. Came with an HTC branded suede sock to put it in for the businessman with style.

  • i used to have a HP IPAQ with Windows Mobile 2003 on it. I actually really liked Win Mobile 2003, but hated 5 and 6. Wouldn't mind trying to get ahold of one again but yeah... i'd be shit out of luck for replacement cables and stuff. I used to play Bubble Breaker a ton too.

  • The ad is free till my birthday

  • those shelves are sweet. was that a DIY project?

  • Couldn't you have started a Hotspot from your phone? 😊

  • 13:39 What Linus says is so so true. We do take tech for granted nowadays. He looks so proud about how far we have come.

  • Am I the only one who noticed that the thumbnail is a lie? This device doesn't run WM 6.5, lol.

  • My last archaic phone after the N-Gage QD & b4 the iPhone craze leading to my now loved note 9 was an HTC TyTn II (Kaiser) with the best feeling sliding keyboard i ever experienced at the time running Windows Mobile, I loved that thing so much through my uni years i used to flash ROMS on a weekly basis enjoying everything the XDA Developers community had to offer to this day on android. had like 70 games on that thing which were abundant by then. Good times

  • I had one of these! Awesome memories 😂👍🏻

  • Nice Pocket Pu.....PC.

  • A pocket PC was my first smart phone. Man...

  • Back in the day, when smartphone or PDA were made to actually get shit done instead of uploading another Instagram filtered selfie. *But Linus, can it run Crysis?!*

  • I just found my palm pilot! I turned it on and it started smoking after a few minutes then the battery bursted into flames

  • Vaginal cream is just a bad pair of words... hahaha

  • Palm pilots used to entertain me greatly as a kid

  • Aaannnddd win phone fucked up

  • why dont they just reshoot a scene if say linus makes a mistake or says something wrong?

    • Why tho? Humans make mistakes why spend more time it's better and feels more real with slight mistakes or stutters

  • -10 points for the camera man not getting into that shit. wanted to see it up close

  • 9:29 is that what I think it is? What's that video say?..Red...Hot? Oh Linus you sweet sugarplum :3

  • I had one the HP PDA’s back in 2005 and managed to get an snes emulator on it. I played Chrono trigger all the way through and mega man on it without too many problems. Had no WiFi though, so I had to plug into a pc and tether internet to it. Great device for the time.
