Pubblicato il 26 set 2019
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

  • Can we all take a moment to appreciate Netflix, Martin Scorsese and his phenomenal cast for giving us what will likely be an amazing movie without forcing us to go pay $50 to see it in theaters? It also comes out the night before thanksgiving. I’ll be baking pies and watching The Irishman.

  • Que se joda, ahora esto no es cine!

  • De niro is such a LITTLE coward scumbag in real life it's SAD.

  • Real Cinema!

  • *I miss Don Rickles.*

  • Undoubtedly one of the best movies of the year, it was amazing

  • Sobre valorada

  • I'm so glad I went to see this movie on the big screen. Three legends the way a movie is supposed to be. Not to mention being directed by the greatest living directors.

  • Well let me hop over to Netflix.

  • Didnt they make an old man mob movie few years back w all the gang and analyze this n that/sopranos crew if i rc ? Oh well.jimmy the irishman gent and Buffalino spilotro make a good flic togetha!

  • I know that they play the same characters, but boy i enjoy the Art they make together. But and a big af Butt, its hard to oversee the artist formerly known as De niro spouting off any chance about Trump, then watch a movie and not hate him. Its the President, like it or love it but he doesn’t have to be such a douche 24/7 to the guy in office!!! I personally didn’t like POTUS prior to political run, now I’m a fan 99.999% of the time. “We must separate the art from the artist” - Kirk Minhane

  • These fellas are some good-fellas 😁😁

  • Joe Pesci, the best of them all.

  • Never ever looking any vids with deNiro. Still remember how stupid he behaves, when it comes to the US president.

    • @Evelina Dubi "this deNiro" is one of the greatest actors of all time and if he wasn't a celebrity he would just be another US citizen who hates Trump

    • @Evelina Dubi Trash talking Trump is one more reason to love De Niro

    • @Alex Weiner To tell my opinion? Maybe others do not know what a rat this deNiro is?

    • then why are you on this one

  • Awesome!

  • Now I am happy that I still haven't cancelled my subscription. Qualities of Netflix contents were getting much less desirable in recent days for me... Not anymore.

  • I just saw this masterpiece. Un. Be. Lievable.

  • Disney+ : we have Star Wars and marvel Netflix: *has everything else* hold my beer

  • after seeing this, safe to say as the years pass this will have the resonate the same way as the godfather, scarface, goodfellas, etc. absolutely everyone killed it in this movie and not a step missed through 3.5 hours

  • UK 4K release date anyone ????

  • Just watched this in a cinema. What a masterpiece. Thanks Martin.

  • Legendary enough said

  • Avengers:Endgame was the best action movie. Scorsese: *Hold my tommy gun*

  • "PHUKK YOU" sideways all the way back to Sunset, pathetic "actor"

  • Al Pacino - Best Supporting Actor

  • Can confirm: Movie is great

  • These mens are legends they still producing master peice

  • IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT SOMEONE BEGAN TO SPEAK AND SHOW HOW THE MOB TOOK OUT THE KENNEDY BROTHERS. ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT LA COSA NOSTRA KNOWS THAT THEY WERE THE ONLY "ORGANIZATION" CAPABLE OF PULLING IT OFF. BOBBY COST HIS BROTHER HIS LIFE, NOT THAT JOHN WAS ALWAYS AN ANGEL, ESPECIALLY WHERE WOMEN WERE CONCERNED. BOBBY SCREWED UP ROYALLY WHEN HE DECIDED TO GO HEAD TO HEAD WITH THE MOB, AND THE ITALIANS WERE IN CONTROL ...TOTAL CONTROL AT THAT TIME, OF ANY AND ALL GANGS AND GANGSTERS. YOU JUST DID NOT GO AT THE MOB LIKE BOBBY DID AND GET AWAY WITH IT. I AM JUST SURPRISED THAT BOTH BROTHERS HAD TO LOSE THEIR LIVES, BUT I GUESS IF THEY TOOK ONLY BOBBY OUT, THEY WOULD HAVE THE POTUS ON THEIR ASS AND THE FBI. SO, JOHN GOT TAKEN OUT FIRST, THEN BOBBY, BEFORE HE HAD A CHANCE TO ELEVATE TO THE WHITE HOUSE HIMSELF. THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GOOD FOR THE MOB, SO BOBBY HAD TO GO. SIRHAN SIRHAN AND LEE HARVEY OSWALD, ....PULEEEEEZE ! THE MOB TOOK OUT THE KENNEDYS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY....AS WITH ALL HITS.....SOMEBODY GETS TO PULL THE TRIGGER THINKING IT WILL HELP MAKE THEIR BONES......NOT WITH THIS HISTORICAL CASE!

  • They forgot Harvey Keithel

  • People.are.too.busy.with.marvel's.shitty.superhero.films.and.ignoring.this.film.it.should.have.been.realeased.on.cinema.hall.

  • I am beyond glad I went to see this film in the cinema, it's a masterpiece. The acting is on another level and just shows the talent of the older stars. So honoured I got to see them on the big screen! Hope this picks up some good awards too! 😁

  • What a movie, what a jewl, what a piece of art... Jimmy Hoffa just went too far, like Sheeran says, "you followed orders, you did the right thing". That end is just one of the best things I've ever seen in my entire life, just wow. "Long live Marty"

    • @Nad K Yeah, I agree, I think the three of them are total masterpieces, overall "GoodFellas", what I loved in particular about the Irishman was Scorsese's ability to make you travel with the characters, at the end of the movie you have that sensation of lose, weakness, and loneliness, like if something was broken. I must highlight in this sense Anna Paquin's and DeNiro's acting, which through silence made you feel everything more intensely. You're definitely right about the energy, this movie is not as electric as the previous but very reflexive and emotional. I would put a nine. And yeah Joe Pesci is so fantastic in his subtle, menacing and sly tone, he deserves the nomination.

    • @Dani Soto yes true. For me I think it's because Goodfellas and Casino set the bar so high. Everything from the intro to music is really special (Goodfellas). The Irishman lacked the fast, energetic scenes. Especially Joe Pesci. Of course I take his age and charceter into account, and that those movies were made 30 years ago lol

    • @Nad K yeah those last twenty minutes when you get to see the decadence of this man, I don't really remember the last scene exactly, but most of the ending. There was enough 'ganster' during the entire lenght I think, overall that scene with Joe Gallo, which was very surprising

    • Really? Even that end scene? I think it was a bit slow and not enough 'gangster' in it

  • Funny How? lol Joe Pesci

  • i will be watching this when it comes out. great cast of awesome old school actors doing roles they do extraordinarily well

  • Shouldn't this be called the Italian man?

    • @Egg Benedict No, Frank Sheeran wasn't Irish, he was of Irish descent just like De Niro.

    • Frank Sheeran was Irish.

    • @☯ mazewaxie ☯ aww I see

    • De Niro is of Irish descent too.

  • Excellent movie

  • these guys are the Scorsese formula of cinema sorcery. Scorsese scores again!

  • this is actually a paramount movie, they dropped it and netflix just bought distribution. they will release it in a few theaters for oscar eligibility

    • They already released it in theatres weeks ago.

    • Incorrect, it was supposed to be a Paramount movie but they didn't feel like paying for the $200 million budget and cancelled the movie before filming began. Netflix decided to pay for the rights and the movie's production. This is 100% Netflix's movie.
