Commenti

  • Rest In Peace, Patrick Day!!! The entire world Loves you, and will tremendously Miss You. May you continue to Rest in the Bossom Of God for the whole of Eternity, Amen!!!

    • @Edo Tafia Amebor Nice!

    • @OPTIMUS PRIME , thank you so much for your comment! I wanted to give others the chance of highlighting their comments. But i thought about it, you were right, I just did exactly how you suggested.

    • Why don't you *PIN* your own comment so you can be on top of the rest of the comments?

  • So we just ignore the fact this is manslaughter orrrr...

    • zain mehmood I know, I’m just technically speaking.

    • There's consent during sport so it would fail in court

  • Well at least, I heard he had a well balanced breakfast that morning.

  • rest in peace man brother. They need to improve the matt somehow when fighters fall back and about to hit there head i know it sounds silly but something. Some how add air pockets that someone is able to control when a fighter falls sounds silly but it could work.

  • 1:52 Right Hook In The back of the ear then left hook to the chin.

  • This might sound silly but I’m just curious how this actually happened? Like is it just from the way he took the hit? RIP Patrick Day.

    • Its plenty of dudes in prison for hitting dudes 1 time and they die. The brain isn't made for certain impacts those 1 hit death stories are true. It can happen!!

    • I think the hit to rear of his head and then the front pretty much knocked his brain lose from skull

    • @ReynoAndHopo , i think the most devastating part of it all was when he (RIP, Patrick Day) hit the back of his head so hard as much as he did on the canvas, just after he took that barrage of hard-punches from his opponent, (Charles Conwell) in that very round.

  • RIP. Honestly I didn’t really know him but watching this video is extremely sad.

  • Stupid judge!!!!!

  • The fact that he was smiling when he said to the referee that he could continue :(

  • Seen punches way more brutal and worse in the ufc. How do you die from this? This has to be related to health issues before the fight.

    • @Sahn theres always an autopsy and his listed cause of death is traumatic brain injury.

    • krutonsbproductions I searched up Patrick day autopsy and nothing comes up other than articles describing the moment. Link it if you say there was an autopsy

    • @Sahn theres literally like a thousand articles on it dude and thats really not the point anyways.

    • krutonsbproductions there was no autopsy I could find on the internet. Link it if you say so.

    • @Sahn thats simply just not true. the brain is very complex and as far as we know the autopsy didnt find anything other than trauma from his head hitting the ground. Deaths in boxing and other things like football are pretty common idk why thats hard for you to accept you angry little man

  • Triste....mes pensées vont à sa famille ,J’espère que tu reposes au sanctuaire des combattants Patrick

  • When the commentator said and there he goes down again and this time for good that made my stomach wretch like what is life, swear stuff like that makes ya think 🧐😢

  • Rip man rip 💪🏼

  • I hate Society god damn you people are dumb

  • Rip Patrick day 🙏🙏🙏

  • You could see here if you look closely he was very damaged by the 1st knockdown. If you watch his gloves he can't really hold them up to protect his head afterwards. This was basically a guy getting a very serious concussion and taking more punches after that.

  • To the Day family.. My prayers go out to you.. Patrick’s loss is a tragedy, but he was a warrior and passed doing something he loved. I know that doesn’t make things easier, but he seems like the type of guy that would tell people that.. God please let Patrick be by your side and comfort his family. Amen

  • RIP 🙏🏾

  • Thats a vicious ass knockout more than once i dont see why his people the reff or paramedics didnt call off the fight after the 10th time he got hit hard af in the head

  • Peccato

  • If I could just....KILL A MAN!

  • Fucking hell rest in peace Patrick day xx

  • They should change the rules and have one knock down, that will make a massive difference and protect the fighters.

  • RIp very sad fr fam'n friends but dying in combat - not the worst death for a boxer loving his sport. I mean better dying wth glory then retiring nameless wth 30 n dying of boxers dementia wth 40

  • He did not kill a man. The man he was working with died on duty.

    • Narako Toshio it’s not murder

    • Rodgers Makaza He didn't murder him as far as I'm aware. He was just doing his job and sadly, it led to someone's death

    • Fucking dumbass people the guy died from head trauma he’s in boxing an that’s what happened. No one got murdered or died on duty that’s a stupid way to look at it

    • Yea yea keep convincing urself with bullshit. This is murder

    • Marcel Joel manslaughter

  • "and there he goes down again and this time for good"

  • teraz użalacie się debile...przecież chcieliście widowiska no to macie.hipokryci pierdoleni

  • Such a tragedy! Prayers for his family 🙏

  • God bless the young man Patrick Day . So sad when things like this happen . I wish his family comfort , peace, God bless.

  • Glad i stopped watching boxing . a long time ago. this shit would've been crazy to see. Rip p.day

  • RIP Patrick Day 😔

  • The other boxer doesn't care about Patrick

    • @Max Mensforth , it looked as if he didn't care immediately after he knocked Patrick Day down, but later as he realised that Patrick Day wasn't alright, then he seemed remorseful.

  • Wtf was the ref doing?

  • A lot of people blaming the ref and I think he could have stepped in a little bit sooner but where was his corner. It's the corners job to protect their fighter.

  • I maybe wrong but I'm sure that hook was slightly on the back of his head and he looked at the ref like wtf that was illegal then boom there's nothing he could do when he got caught again. He hits his head hard when falling back I'm sure there should be a doctor rushing into the ring at least the ref to hold his head up and take the mouthpiece out. RIP Patrick Day.

    • @Adam Wolstenholme , i think the Referee is partly to blame, not totally his fault, but i think he waisted too much time counting while Patrick Day was seriously knocked out, especially after the Referee saw as Patrick Day hit his head on the canvas, as hard as he did, the Referee should have immediately signalled for the Doctors to come in the ring to attend to Patrick Day. And also, the Referee shouldn't have even started the count at all, because in such a grievous circumstance, every split-second counts.

  • in all due respect please take down this video

    • @Micky Bender , thanks for your comment but would you like me to take down the video?

  • I’m disgusted that the ref didn’t stop the fight when he got dropped into the ropes and walked back to his corner wobbling. He clearly got up and never had his legs under him. Not to mention that you can see he wasn’t all there in his eyes. Referees need to pay attention to these signs. Unfortunately the Ref never waved the fight off resulting in a death of a beautiful young soul.

    • @Yahtzeeeu Ook I'm not blaming the referee?

    • @D Jibby Very redpilled comment. It's all well and good blaming the referee with this level of hindsight

    • If the referee stopped the fight at that point, Patrick and everyone rooting for him would've been outraged. Look at the fury wilder fight, fighters always have a chance of coming back and it's not fair for the ref to take that from them. The corners are supposed to know their fighters and if they are not fit to carry on then they will call it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I guarantee you would've complained had the fight been called at the earlier knockdown. The ref should have waved off the fight instantly as soon as he went down rather than starting a count. But if you listen to Eddie Hearn speak about it he said that pat was in the ambulance within 2 minutes so the medical attention was immediate. Unfortunately it was just Patrick's day. Please don't pin his death on the fighter or the referee. It's a freak circumstance and is nobody's fault.

    • @Rez , and if i may add to that, i think the Referee did very poorly, at least after the final knock down. I'm not saying it's totally his fault, but i think he waisted too much time counting while Patrick Day was seriously knocked out, especially after he saw Patrick Day hitting his head on the canvas as hard as he did, the Referee should have signalled to the Doctors immediately, and shouldn't have even started the count. Because in such circumstances, every split-second counts.

  • imma be honest patrick day looked like his was hit behind the ear r.ip to the brotha. But your not supposed to hit behind the ear

  • It was not the final punch that killed him. It was the collection of punches throughout the fight.

  • Timing is very important. When the brain starts to swell immediate medical attention is needed to stop the swelling. I believe doctors have freezing technology to prevent further brain damage. RIP Patrick Day

    • @2019? comments shit me www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322475.php The treatment is called hypothermia. Doctors have used it to stop swelling in spinals chords and brain. Please read up on it. I posted a link .

    • There is no technology to thwart severe brain swelling on the spot

    • Unfortunatly they dont if you freeze any part of your body you will get hypothermia and either way you will pass it was just to late once the brain starts swelling there is nothing the doctors can do
