  • We are thrilled to see the positive response from our community! We know you’ve got questions and we’re happy to share more info! Check out our Kerbal Space Program 2 Master Post live on our forum

    • @Endr Wigin probably not

    • Will we be able to build space elevators?

    • This is the last comment (sub to pewdiepie and Daimian11X )😎

    • if anything, you chose the right music to go along with the trailer.

    • Nick Nathanson yeah , they should add RSS/RO as an option when you start a new game, but if not, the modding community will probably move to ksp 2 anyway

  • Elon musk wants to know your location.

  • My brain: Let's do some fucking colonization and bring democracy!

  • her: Im pregnant! :) him: 1:36

  • It can make a grown man cry

  • Great looking game but all I can think about is motivational lizard

  • Didn't ever expect myself to cry while watching a game trailer. I am beyond excited.

  • Holy macaronies the graphics will kill my non gaming laptop

  • is that interestellar 2 teaser?

  • when i want to see something good on IT-tvs i come here

  • Why didnt they just make the outer planets mod thing official

  • I am actually crying

  • Два раза КУ всем!

  • When is it coming out for Xbox one

  • This is so beautiful I can’t stop watching it over and over

  • Hope this game is going to have ray tracing in it !

  • i can't wait for this to come out

  • omg i am so hyped since gamescon 2019

  • Great! More games to crash the space ships

  • Dear mr ksp 2 Please release the game before we all die of coronavirus. Thank you

  • Who’s as hype as I am for KSP 2? Edit: this also shows how irresponsible kerbals can be

  • You did it again kerbals making our dreams come true

  • This looks truly incredible

  • I wonder if they'll make probing a gas giant possible, and if they'll make the visible bit volumetric

  • Ur a winner kiddo, don't you ever forget

  • KSP X M83 so damn rad!!!!!!!!

  • Hey you should check out the most avid players for beta testers ; )

  • Good good

  • what's the song name

  • This is by far the BEST trailer in all trailer history! I hope that KSP2 is kept nice like KSP and you can still destroy rockets and turn kerbals in meteors XD

  • 1:34 Huh, they seem to have added the gravity rings to space stations. That’s pretty cool.

  • This is where men cry

  • I keep coming back to rewatch this trailer, God it's beautiful. I know that it's not actual gameplay and that its rendered many times past the graphics we will probably get, it's still awe inspiring. Perfect song choice too. CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!!

  • I’m tired of waiting, when’s it coming out.

  • Game in Steam or EA 50/50

  • Jebediah boards a F-35 Raptor, destorying all of Kerbin

  • You're a winner kiddo, don't you ever forget that

  • Pls make a mobile version of ksp plssss makenit low mb

    • A mobile Version of KSP would be almost impossible. If you don't have an extremely capable Phone, basically anything with not even high amounts of parts would lag.

  • I wonder if they'll add a form of procedural wings?

  • My biggest worry is that you are focusing on the wrong things. Multiple star systems is nice and all but it SHOULD NOT be the main focus. Same with multiplayer although i think that will be the biggest game changer if they do it right. Basically they should focus on game DEPTH instead of width. For example I think that traversable interiors would be a huge addition, with levers and buttons so that you can play the game from first person only. They have a huge opportunity to make the campaign mode a lot more engaging. Kerbal life support systems and problem solving should be added into the game. Space stations and rovers NEED to have a purpose otherwise it'll just be a game where we can land on more things. My idea for a new campaign would be to have a "parts inventory" that you can build ships from, either that missions provide you with parts or that you can manufacture parts from materials you mine out in space. This would make each craft feel more special in that its built from a finite resource. Adding to that maybe a build timer for different size craft so that you have to wait a little while after finishing a design (this would make multiple launch pads necessary). The thing with this is that it would make rovers and satellites more necessary because of the different materials you need to find, and it would make it so you are capable of going anywhere with the starter parts if you are really good at flight and design but new players need to take it more methodical. Maybe mining Minmus first to get sayyyy advanced alloys for long range transmitters and robotic parts in order to be able to travel to a further away planet without risking a kerbal because you have not as of yet learnt what you need to be able to send a manned mission that far. Basically the systems in the game should complement each other. You do this in order to be able to do this in order to produce this part in order to scan this body for this material that can be used to produce a more advanced version of this in order to start building an outpost here where you can start building a second launch center to launch small probes into the nearby asteroid field to scan for ludicrously rare alloys that will make interstellar travel possible. The kerbals need to be fed by automated or un-automated resupply missions and might get home-sick or enter into an inspired state that makes them much better at their profession. A sandstorm might start and knock out their solar panels for a while making it so that their air might risk running out in the near future. Making you have to launch small craft above the storm layer in order to find mountains that stick up above it and put solar panels there. Getting a rover to pull electrical wires down though the storm to the base giving the base a more sustainable source of power. While bringing a homesick kerbal home the craft might malfunction making you have to take a detour to a nearby moon and send a rescue mission after him. The kerbal launch site could be made more personalized with a park\memorial graveyard for kerbals lost in space. And buildings that you place yourself within a grid. More like a tycoon game. You might be able to build a simulator building where you can plan missions and test out craft before their built, and have the scientists predict the likelyhood of success after you've left the simulated version of kerbins atmosphere. This building may also be used to program automated missions to different outposts you have, setting time and conditions of launch and placing parameters of when an automated resupply is necessary. (These launches can then be seen in the background while you're busy doing other things) These are just some examples of my point which is that kerbal space program primarily needs more options! Not necessarily more planets or parts, but systems that play of each other to make interesting challenges for the player. So please devteam, don't just make it the same game but with more stuff, this team has such an opportunity to make something truly special. DONT MESS IT UP! :)

  • Yesss 😭

  • your music choice is perfect. did you hire cupcake for choosing the music?

    • @Salticus keep trying!!

    • Same. I have 400 hours in KSP but never got a mission to Duna and back.

  • take my money this is so good i want to play it now

  • OMG, i got goosebumps.....can't wait to play it !

  • The soundtrack brings me back to Mr Robot's finale, tears :(

  • please steal this pitch for a movie: Humans embark on a long, slower than light voyage to the Kerbol system after discovering green pygmy-like natives on the third planet. The Kerbals are nigh indestructable and live almost for ever. They don't have war, but they do get into costly and dangerous fads/obsessions (like building the tallest water slide or the longest bridge). Despite their engineering prowess, none of the Kerbals ever considered spaceflight or imagined worlds beyond their own until the probe came, then that was all any of them could think about. Something goes wrong on the human ship, dooming them before they can reach Kerbin. The Kerbal Space Program, a globally funded and resourced space agency -which sprung up overnight- is the human astronauts only hope for rescue.
