Here's Why the Tesla Model 3 Performance Is the Best Tesla Yet

Pubblicato il 14 nov 2019
The Tesla Model 3 Performance is the best Tesla yet. Today I'm reviewing the Model 3 Performance, and I'm going to discuss why it's the best Tesla -- and I'm going to show you all the cool features of the Model 3 Performance. Then I'm going to get it out on the road and drive the Tesla Model 3 Performance.

  • Who will be more upset by this video? Tesla people, saying I wasn't positive enough? Or car people, saying I'm biased towards Tesla? Today, we find out!

    • Most things you talked are already on other model 3s and not just the performance model

    • Ski Dubai ? No easy autopilot for you to understand the external cost to 3rd parties. You could pipe the exhaust of a Silverado into a kindergarten for a lesson but I wouldn't recommend it.

    • @Eric Simonson thanks for the details of fit and finish ;)

    • @zrRyan2 Yah, he didn't talk about fit and finish, but I've just picked up a Model 3 and the paint is way better than it was. Also, no noticeable misalignments in the body panels or doors. Doug also did not talk at all about the upkeep or fuel costs in his ratings. He still has a ways to go in the shift to the EV world.

    • I'm just upset you used roughly 20 minutes of the video talking about the dumb games on the infotainment center

  • 6:35 if they were truly considerate, they would have combined Tesla Theatre with Dog Mode so pets can be entertained while their owners are absent. Pet Entertainment by Tesla. Maybe an OTAU?

  • Good job. I think this was a really fair review

  • @Doug DeMuro think you got the balance right. No one could argue it is not a genuine Doug Score, complete with all the DeMuro charms and annoyances. While Tesla might have been hoping for the first ever perfect Doug Scorce, they must love that you gave it a pretty hot-smoking, thumbs up review 👍 👍. Tesla cars are too expensive in Australia, so instead of buying a new car, which I do every 15 years, I bought 120 TSLA stock, stretch my car out to 20 years and by a car in 2025 with whatever the stock is worth then.

  • “Moving the steering wheel in video games actually moves the car’s wheels in really life” - BAD, bad bad bad, VERY bad!!!! Turning the front wheels from lock to lock at highly rapid rate MUST put undue, unneeded, unnecessary stress wear and tear on the entire steering system leading to a premature breakdown somewhere within the steering system.

  • AHH

  • The first 15 minutes of this review (minus some camera/security features) shows why these cars aren’t popular. Everything you just showed is utterly useless and retarded. If I want any of that - and much much much more - I can get an IPad Mount for the car. There. Also you just glance over the fact the cars overheat. Wait. What. Huh how when what temp how common. I’d like to know more about this than fart noises or crappy video games, parked only. Is this why the cars are so expensive? So I can pay Elon Musk to make a crappy iPad knockoff instead of a car. Ugh. So much for Teslas.

  • Where did you get the carbon fiber wraps for the center console and wooden part? THAANKS!

  • 2017-2020 Tesla model 3 the same design, boring

  • Video games, fart noises, karaoke....I want one of these cars.

  • Are the Tesla cars disproportionate just in my eyes? A Mazda 6 from 2010 is more beautiful than any Tesla.

  • It's the best car out there, not just the best Tesla

  • I like lot features like auto pilot, sentry mode, software updates etc

  • *Doug - bro..your expression - 28.27 -- PRICELESS*

  • Still a Model 3 with Fugly Ikea interiors

  • Woohoo vegan interior. Great to hear Tesla ditched the leather steering wheel.

  • Long range version has better range, and pretty comparable acceleration, etc. for almost $10,000 less

  • HAL? Are these the origins of HAL?

  • DougScores are the most useless metric ever.

  • imagine going back to the 1800s with a tesla

  • I love Tesla.

  • 8:39 :))))))))))

  • at 28:25 everything you wanted to know.

  • Doug I some young guys like Richrebuilds are just icons of this type of electric car can take this baby and hot rod the drivetrain into something that don't look like this one I bet maybe this will be my first car to hotrod.maybe one day Tavarish will take one and make an electronic Lamborghini out of a drivetrain or Rich rebuilds do a Gallardo out of one maybe do an bmwI8.peace

  • Hey Doug, can you share the details of his chrome delete and console wrap?

  • You need to review 2020 mercedes EQC

  • This car is 😎

  • They took cooling from the seats to give more climate control to the batteries.

  • sweet review funny and lovely!!!!!

  • It looks like a mini suv. Big windows and a tall roof with a short back.

  • Imagine getting bald spots on your tires from all those gaming sessions.

  • In the past: someday we'll have flying cars. Present day: play arcade games in your tesla

  • Doug impersonating a "crazy" person was truly terrifying. It looked more of a raptor if anything.

  • You don't need cooled seats / heated steeringwheel when you can control the climate from your phone before you head out.

  • Arcade mode should also move the suspension system up and down

  • Ad junky

  • Jo I love this care while driving slow it sounds like a fucking space ship😍

  • I have a 2014 Yukon with my iPad Pro 12.9 mounted on the dash like this. Definitely doesn’t play fart sounds! I am getting a Tesla truck.

  • Unbelievable how much tech is built in. I love that the games, and Whoopi cushion mode are built in. Shows how much of a sense of both humor, and childhood fascination Elon has. I absolutely love that guy and Tesla.

  • Not going to cover every thing, still makes a 34 minute video
