Pubblicato il 13 mag 2019
Game of thrones season 8 episode 5 clip. Jon comes to talk with Daenerys. She tells Jon how no one here loves her but they all love him. Jon refuses to kiss dany. "Alright then, let it be fear"

Commenti

  • she was not a mad queen ffs

  • Why became Jon such an idiot? :D

  • “A child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth”

  • The moral of the story that 8 seasons have built up to: Give her the dick or she go crazy bitch I usually don't say these things because SJWs are ridiculous little shits, but D&D's idea of how to develop a mad queen is insanely, over-the-top sexist and degrading. Bitch (who has been a tried and true hero and good person for her entire character arc) went mad cause her nephew wouldn't dick her down. Somehow decides that not getting the dick means she must instill great fear in the subjects she means to liberate and win to her side, and that the best way to instill said fear is to burn it all to shit (probably a metaphor for D&D's idea of what to do). Would be laughable if it wasn't just so damn bad

  • As I watched Season 1 again, I realized that Viserys foreshadowed the Death of Daenerys. Dany looked and talked exactly like him during her final days, they both wanted power, they feel alone, they feel that someone robbed them of what truly belonged to them. Viserys: No one has give me what they give to her in that tent, no one. Not a piece of it. Who can rule without wealth or fear or love. Daenerys: I know that look. So many people looked at me that way but never here, never on this side of the sea. Far more people in Westeros love you than love me. I don't have love here. I only have fear.

  • 2:18 When my kids don't do what they're told.

  • What is Jon's mental state about his relationship with Dany? Is he uncomfortable with her being his aunt, he doesn't love her anymore, (which I don't believe he does) or feeling very confused and figuring out his feelings towards her?

    • @Story 2 Screen Movie Review Podcast D&D, KH, and Cogman say Jon loves Dany but is struggling with the incest angle. The shooting script for that scene reads, "She pulls back from the kiss and looks at Jon. This is complicated for him. He loves her. He disapproves strongly of what she's doing. He lusts after her. He fears her. She feels his ambivalence." In both the fourth and fifth episodes, Jon does initially engage in making out with Dany (in the fourth, he initiates it and here, he gives into it) but stops it both times.

    • @naleybaby There's one scene that makes it seems he's okay with being with her, he just doesn't want to live a lie. There was a lot more to play with right there for a 9th and 10th season.

    • Story 2 Screen Movie Review Podcast I think he still loves her but he the fact he knows she’s his aunt won’t allow him to be with her the same way again.

  • “It is better to be feared than to be loved if you cannot have both” - Niccolo Machiavelli

    • “A child who is not embraced by the village, will burn it down to feel its warmth”

  • It's funny how everyone thinks things would've been better had Jon just gave her the D. It would've just delayed the inevitable. Sansa was never going to allow the North to bend the knee and Jon was clearly conflicted with Dany once he learned of his parentage (he could barely look her in the eyes after finding out). Sansa would've told the world about Jon and done everything in her power to undermine Dany's reign. Even if the people of King's Landing were spared, things would've gotten too contentious between Dany and the North. That would leave Jon to make one final choice. He can choose to fight alongside the House and family he's always known (House Stark) or his true House (House Targaryen). The only way to a "happy" ending is if Dany owned Jon's true identity and allowed the North to go independent. And she was never going to do either of those things.

    • I think it's only Bran telling Jon about his parentage that prevented a Stark-Targaryen civil war.

  • I'm not really sure what she expected of the people of Westeros. Gratitude probably from the Northerners, and for the most part they did show gratitude. But the rest of the world never saw her, only the stories and the horrors of the dragons. Like that scene where those prostitutes are just gossiping around Bronn about soldiers who were burned. It's kinda hard to get love when they have every reason to be afraid of a dragon let alone the Mother of Dragons. My heart hurts for Dany, she wanted to be loved more than everything and she went to the one place in the world that could never love a Targaryen

  • 1:06 💘

  • Jon's choice: Banging your super hot aunt or seeing King's Lading burn? After all he has done for the world it just doesn't make sense that he wouldn't bite the bullet now.

  • This is the saddest scene and perhaps the most powerful scene in the whole show. People were shocked by what happens after - HELLO, what the hell do you think she means when she says "Let it be fear." She played the hand she was dealt. It was not madness, it was choice.

  • Gotta earn love Daenerys not DEMAND IT fucks sake.

    • Beaujona Jazzlyn she brought and sacrificed her dragon to protect the north from the biggest threat idk what more that they want

  • Sansa didn’t kill Varys u dumbass u could have prevented it and done better but no.

  • My opinion is that she’s hurt.. All she ever wanted was to help ppl and be loved. She lost everything including her family, Sir Jorah, Misandei and her 2 dragons that are “the only children she would ever have”. She loves John but he doesn’t love her back. She’s heartbroken. She’s, literally speaking, alone. I feel sorry for her and i see why it made her go mad.

    • Well, Jon did love her back but is having some pretty big conflicts of his own at this point with their relationship. He doesn't feel able to continue their romantic relationship with the revelation of their blood relationship, which I think does contribute to Dany's despair.

    • She didn't go mad. She is the queen of dragons, made of fire and blood. But here she is cold and rational. This is the game of thrones. You rule with love or fear. She only had fear. "Alright then. Let it be fear."

  • People, never reject a woman who has a Dragon!!!

  • Anyone caught on to the fact that Daenerys just called Grey Worm by his real name?

    • @In Varietate Concordia dude I believe you I'm just saying I prefer it if they just called him Torgo.

    • @Jose Figueroa Idk. But you should go back to when the Unsullied choose their leaders and you'll see what Im talking about

    • @In Varietate Concordia then should the translation of the language she is speaking say the word Grey Worm? If so then I like Torgo rather than Grey Worm. Like Jose is Joseph in Spanish but I like Jose better.

    • Its just Grey Worm in Valyrian. He told her to call him that because its the name he had when he was liberated by her.

  • Jon snow used daenerys, hes pretending when he says that he loves her

    • No -- he did march south to help her take the throne, defended her to Tyrion even after she committed democide, didn't want to kill her, tried to convince her toward mercy in the throne room, and felt assassinating her wasn't right. It's the incest angle that Jon is struggling with as D&D/Cogman/KH say Jon loves Dany but is having a hard time with their blood relationship.

    • Nah, he just realized she was his aunt and decided not to act like an inbred.

    • Manoel Neto I wouldn’t even say that Jon’s using Daenerys, he’s honestly just moving militant at this point.... you can hear the fear in his voice when Jon speaks to her, thus bringing out the “Let it be fear” line

    • I tought that same thing, it's the only way I can explain his character assassination these past seasons, it's that Jon had to make everything to have her by his side (since he can no longer stand her touch, he has to follow her every orders) or else the writers are that dumb

  • The death of all those innocent citizens is as much Jons and Sansas fault as it is Cerceis'. If jon had assured her of his love for her romantically, she wouldn't of felt the need to resort to fear to obtain the Iron Throne. Dany sees no other way to reign in the 7 kingdoms. With allies that betrayed her and Jon not going all the way with her, fear it is.

    • The man had to come to grips with the fact that his identity is a lie and that he's in love with his aunt. That's a lot of shit to sort through combined with fighting wars (against the dead and Cersei's forces) and his aunt throwing herself at him. The best Jon could've done in this situation is tell Dany they'll talk once the war is over.

    • People justifying Danny's slaughter of thousands of innocents sends a shiver down my spine.

    • The point is, he doesn't has the need to reassure her of his feelings, everyone is scared of her bc she doesn't even hear reasons anymore, the only fault is Daenerys, since the moment she needed a whole lot of people in her council to stop her from burning people, it was obvious she never was going to be a good queen

  • Viserys: "Who can rule without wealth or fear or love?"

  • 2:18 Chills! i must say I loved Emilia Clarke's acting here.

  • Fuck! Jon has failed her so HARD! He was the only one who could keep her going over the edge, after she lost everyone who loved and respected her and he just went: "yOu aRe mY qUeEn". What an impotent bitch!

  • Jon is so impotent in the whole season. Geez, even I would have more to say than that dumb blank stare...

    • He is so booring, D&D screwed him over, dany atleast speaking and not the same words all the time.

  • Jon snow's Season 8 script: Nobody: Jon: "You are my queen".

  • Jon needed to show some compassion after all the losses Dany has suffered instead of reiterating that hollow "you are my queen" line over and over again.

    • Show compassion while dealing with identity issues, the fact that he may be in love with his aunt, constant battles, and people conspiring to put him on the throne. Were it so easy.

    • Ole Bramserud you gotta look at it from Jon’s perspective. He’s staring into the eyes of a woman on the edge of madness, who can destroy his entire home and family in an instant. Anything at this point can set her off, so of course these circumstances (her brink of madness, him being the true heir to her “destiny,” all of her close ones dying, etc.) would call for Jon’s quietness (hesitation) toward Daenerys. It’s fear more than anything, and it’s not just for himself

    • PlaymakerBoss but at this point she had not killed innocent, my biggest problem is that Jon barely says anything

    • Can yall really blame him? Jon’s honestly just moving militant and very careful at this point.... you can hear the fear and hesitation in his voice when Jon speaks to Daenerys (thus bringing out the “Let it be fear” line). It would be hard to muster any kind of compassion after witnessing the type of monster that Daenerys is slowly becoming from Jon’s point of view

    • That's called a tragedy. Clearly you ain't watching the right series

  • Tyrion did warn her how hard it would be if she went over here. I love Dany, don't get me wrong. But she came here expecting everyone would follow her just because of her name. That isn't how the world works. A harsh lesson.

    • @elevate07 Not to mention what the father of Dany did to the north XD

    • @Blind Seer Explain? Jon is only the Theon in the sense that he's not asking for the throne. Daenerys is the Theon in... literally every other respect

    • @elevate07 lol its not. theon is jon

    • @Blind Seer That's different. Theon Greyjoy was an islander raised in Winterfell. When he got home no one wanted him and no one liked him. Yara grew up and fought alongside the Ironborn, everyone in the Iron Islands know and respect her. So despite her being a woman the Ironborn are quicker to give someone they know a chance versus Theon who was never considered. Daenerys is the Theon in this scenario. Yes she came from Westeros but as far as people there are concerned she's a foreigner from Essos that showed up with 3 living nukes and demanded everyone bow to her. She knows literally no one in Westeros other than the people she's there to conquer. Jon the bastard looks much better in comparison. Jon grew up there. He's the son of Ned Stark, a man known throughout the country as the most honest, honorable man of his generation. Even evil Cersei was willing to stand down on nothing but Jon's word because everyone knows a Stark's word is as good as gold. He liberated Winterfell from the Boltons who no one liked. And now it comes up Jon is actually a legitimate heir to the throne? I can see why that would make Dany look bad since no one in Westeros cares about her victories in Essos. She has to consistently show force to get the Westerosi people to bend to her will and any good she does is met with skepticism. Especially from the Northerners who've had a string of bad experiences with the crown with 2 of their liege lords being killed by the crown in a row.

    • @elevate07 what about yara and theon? its the same, he didnt want it

  • Well what were you expecting Dani? The people here aren't slaves in the traditional sense and some of them lived through a past Targaryen dynasty. The people up North follow examples not power. That's why they love Sansa and Jon.

  • What an a$$hole. No wonder she goes over the edge. Everyone who loved or respected her is now dead. She has no choice now but to rule with an iron fist

    • Nickelbackist meinLeben You forgot that Jon was raised as a Stark and he is not comfortable with incest. Targaryen blood or not Ned Stark was his father and Jon was raised with his principles.

    • tmac20031 Yeah, how dare he not want to fuck his aunt.... I don't know what he was thinking!

  • Her acting this season was pretty bang on!

    • @JrKengu I saw sadness behind the anger.

    • @Ole Bramserud Hopefully ❤️

    • @JrKengu Exactly!!! How she is in real life and what she portrayed in the last episode are 2 exactly opposite human personalities and she pulled it off beautifully !!!

    • yeah i love her facial expressions. having seen how she is in real life, really smiley and always joking around and laughing, its quite astonishing how crazy and angry she manages to make her face look.

    • She deserves an Emmy nomination atleast

  • Painful and hurt

  • Should have just gave her the dick, then kings landing probably wouldnt have been burned

  • 100% chilling.

  • A moment of silence to all the parents who named their daughter after Daenerys.

  • smh..jon if you would have just banged her she would have maybe not gone mad smh....

    • Uno when girls move mad when they get sexually frustrated🤣🤣

    • tbh i think the true reason dany wants jon is cuz she knows he has the better claim to the throne, she is afraid and she wants to make sure she becomes queen even if she has to marry jon for it.

    • 😂😂😂

    • yh she was hungry for dick so she killed everybody
