  • Hey! Did you do all this on your own? How did you tour around? I don't drive and I am looking to do my first solo holiday after being dumped on new years day. Cool vid.

  • i am living in otranto

  • I love this! My husband's family lives in Locorotodo. We have a very authentic restaurant in L.A called Pizzeria il Fico if anyone is here and wants to try authentic cuisine :) Awesome video!

  • There are a lot of beautiful city and beach in the south of Puglia, as Porto Cesareo and Torre Lapillo, Gallipoli and all Salento's coast. In this area there are the most beautiful beach in europe

  • Hi Dan, name is Ray (Floatwithme) a Dutch composer. Amazing channel and glad I have subscribed. Keep up that great work. Cheers Ray :)

  • Great shots but the music is stressing me out! It doesn't fit at all.

  • Looks like an interesting video but it has absolutely hands-down the worst background music I have ever heard. Had to click off

    • There is always mute :) Noted, not sure why I picked that track...

  • If you are student in Durham university give me like 😉

  • Monopoli?!

    • Didn't make it Sadly, already packed way to much into 5 days haha - next time :)

  • I spent 3 weeks on the Falkland Islands years ago...at so many of the places filmed here. Lovely images...would love to return!

    • Thank you, as would I - it's a very special place, isn't it :)

  • I spent 16 weeks there in 1986... I thought it was one of the worlds best kept secrets... beaches to die for, penguins as far as you can see and landscape that was just plain breathtaking. Worth fighting for ?

    • Absolutely beautiful place isn't it, so glad I had the chance to visit. In my personal opinion, war is always awful, but a governments and armies job is to defend its people, which i think is more important than its land, and the people of the Falklands were and are British.

  • Love the video and I read your blog on Puglia on your website. It actually made me book Puglia! Can i ask whats the location of the water and the caves? it was at 3:02 in your video. Thanks very much

    • That's fantastic news - hope you have an amazing time! That spot is called Torre Sant’Andrea :)

  • Hi Dan. Thanks for coming to Cuenca. Just to let you and your followers know, this is what you could see I'm Cuenca for only 48h. You can't imagine what you can discover in one week, traveling along the province. Cuenca is synonym of nature. You saw the most topics of Cuenca: now you have to come back to discover the real surprising places.

    • Hopefully one day I can - I don't think December was the best time to explore it fully, but I only live in Portugal so not far to return :)

  • Cuenca 🇪🇨 is also beautifull

  • Unsubscribe PLEASE EVERYONE

  • Salzach. not Saalach.....

    • My bad - I must have got confused - the Saalach is the left tributary, and the Salzach the right - is that the side that comes through Salzburg?

  • Sehr schönes Video :) vielen Dank!

  • Hey Dan! Thanks a Lot for your amazing video about my hometown! Please, don't hesitate to contact me if You come back here any time! It will be a pleasure to show You little secrets about the city, and of course, Drive You through the province which is an awesome land of contrast. Thanks a lot to show my city as lovely as You have done!!

    • Thank you - that's so kind! Amazing hometown you have :)

  • thank you for sharing

  • you missed the all Gargano

    • Sadly not enough time to see everything - but I'll be back :)

  • Awful video. The sound is difficult and the narrator speaks so quickly that at times I cannot decipher what he is saying. Eninciate!

    • That would be me, sorry my voice offends - hope the subtitles helped :)

  • Interesting! Aruba is amazing! I made a music as a tribute to Divi Tree (that I first saw in Aruba). Listen to it on the following link: it-tvs.com/tv/video-JDuzSXDguiA.html Congs for the vídeo! 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥

  • Wowwww it really does look like a magical place

    • It really was - photos couldn't do it justice, hoping the videos can a little :)

  • Oh. My. God. This video is everything. How do you not have 8 squillion subscribers already?! Falkland Islands just shot up my bucket list!

  • Dan! This video is amazing! The Falklands look amazing. You are SO talented. I wanna go and see the penguins now!

    • It's an incredible place - hard to do it justice but hope the video can a bit :)

  • What an incredible video Dan! Really beautiful cinematography and looks like the trip of a lifetime!

    • Haha yes! I loved how interactive all the museums are!

  • Beautiful places, it is definitely one of my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this video. Great one. Wishing you for a happy new year .

  • Thank you for this video!!! I'm going to Durham in the New Year for a week and now I've got so much fun things to do!

  • Nice video. Saw Cuenca for the first time recently on the Steve Coogan/Rob Brydon series "The Trip to Spain" and was impressed. Now it's definitely in my plans for next summer. Thanks. Tip: "Mayor" is not pronounced like English mayor. More like MAH-YAWRRR.

    • Have a great time when you visit - and yes, my pronunciation is pretty bad especially as someone who now lives in Portugal :/

  • Best I cream is Lucas ice cream and its actually affordable 🤣

    • Yeah it's great, but not so near tourist attractions if you've only got a couple of days in the city

  • Awesome video!! Where can I download the music to this video?

  • hi friend im from india, solo traveler. your work very good & beautiful view video shoot

  • Beautiful, it-tvs.com/tv/video-n4HrGSHLR7s.html

  • Beautiful video!

  • Was I blinking every time you showed the NAME!!!!! of the bar and beach??? that you were saying was great??

    • @Edward Plain Okay, i'm gonna try and put places in the corners as much as possible with new videos :)

    • @Dan Flying Solo anyway I think I'll go to Dickenson next week

    • @Dan Flying Solo did you ever go on Google reviews for restaurants and see a hundred pictures of all different sorts of food wonder what each one was knowing that when you get to that restaurant there's no way that you could order anything that you saw because you have no clue what they were it's kind of like that

    • @Edward Plain Thanks for the critique and I'll take it on board, but my website is where I write in more detail and always will be. Appreciate that might be frustrating, but I make these videos to support my articles and have to make them public so they can be embedded in the post - I'm one guy, not Nat Geo, so the amount of time and resource I have to write, photograph and make videos alongside my day-job isn't endless. Cheers for stopping by :)

    • @Dan Flying Solo well, you are a "IT-tvsr", in that you made a video public (not private). You have many videos where you are offering them up as learning tools rather than personal videos for your won remembrance. All I am asking is that people who do make such videos where you clearly are offering it up as a learning tool, clearly, to at least let us know where these places are, thats all. If you go to multiple beaches, restaurants, etc, just let us know in the video where they are? the list doesn't do that, it leaves us to guess. That's all I am suggesting, and, you will get more "likes" and hits. Take it as a critique- No eating/chewing/swallowing segments, and state where you are when at a beach or establishment. I hope this helps! and thanks

  • Trafalgar are awesome waterfalls - I loved swimming there even if the water was quite cold

  • Dominica is such an underrated island that deserves to be discovered

  • this is all true. i just went two weeks ago.

  • gerasiyas

  • The one thing forgot to be mentioned is perth is Australia’s meth capital

  • Awesome video👍full watched! great sharing💐always let’s stay connected❤️

  • ,beautiful ALBANIA

  • Which trips did you go on? And where do you book the activities?

    • Honestly, I can't remember who I booked them with, it was a local company once we arrived and a day trip of the 3 main sights (triangle), and a two-night trip to the diamond beach and other attractions there.

  • Im looking into a Baltic cruise,my wife and I are taking our youngest children Jack and Tim they will be 11 years old in July of 2020.. Questions.... 1..Is the Weather warm enough for swimming in the outdoor pools In June or July? 2.Do they have heated indoor pools if needed???Water slides?? 3.What type of other activities onboard?? For kids and Adults? 4.Are there large numbers of English speaking peoples on the cruise, are there a majority of English speaking cruisers in June and July!! We went on a western Med cruise in early September 2010 on the NCL JADE ... Around 5% of cruisers spoke English,we were told in June/July 50% of the cruisers were English speaking!School starting back cuts North American numbers of Tourist back.. 5.Excursions that are outdoor based ,do they have any cycling or maybe atv excursions??

    • @Dan Flying Solo thank you very much for all your help....Here is a window to our world... it-tvs.com/tv/video-tH51t4noY68.html Hope it makes you smile,my wife and I have 7 sons ages 32 ,29,26,25,22,and our IVF wonder twins Tim and Jack..Last try for a girl! :)

    • @Dan Flying Solo very helpful, thank you so much!! :)

    • @Stacy Clarkson I believe the main starting point is Copenhagen, but I actually joined in Germany on a special option so there may be more than one starting point. I used a private taxi to get to the port so don't know in regards to the bus I'm afraid.

    • @Dan Flying Solo you have been so helpful, what port does the cruise start?? Was it easy to meet up with the Bus to take you to the Ship??In Barcelona in 2010,the people that picked use up from the ship all had red jackets and big Signs..

    • 1. Yes, we were swimming in them in May. Two of the outside pools are heated, the only inside pool is that in the spa. No slides. 3. There was alot on board, Theatre, Cinema, TV Studio, Quizzes, Activities, Kids Clubs for both younger and teenagers, gym, running track, tennis courts - there are certainly ships with more kid-friendly activities, but as there are few sea days on the Baltic Routes you are off the ship mainly. 4. Yes, on our ship I'd say most people were English speaking. Late July is also start of the Europe school holidays. It was mainly North American audience on our cruise. 5. We did a cycling tour in Copenhagen, and even if Princess don't offer options in all cities, most destinations are very bike friendly so I'm sure you would find plenty of other options onland such as Baja Bikes in Stockholm.

  • Great stuff Dan- Love the video. My home town.

  • Great vlog! We’re heading to Madrid in January and looking for a day trip ideas! Cuenca looks beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Cuenca, Ecuador is the same of beautifull.

    • Thank you, have a great time in Madrid. Although Cuenca might be quite in January, I think it would still be an amazing day trip!

  • ممتاز جدا جدا 😘😘😘😘🖒🖒 Vraiment c'est fantastiques 👍👍

  • Antigua looks like a divided part of world . No population 😂

  • Love this Dan. Captured some great festival vibes! 🎉

  • Says 2 comments but I only see 1 comment.

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • Amazing video! So happy I found this as I'm visiting Dominica in a month and now I'm even more excited!

  • ❤️🇪🇸

  • Great video Dan. I'm looking to go there on a single day trip from Valencia. Looks beautiful!

    • Thank you! Have an awesome time, it's a super cool spot!

  • Wow amazing 😀

  • The perfect video to watch right now with my morning Coffee... all the places look beautiful

    • I came here because I just saw Whoopi Goldberg's video and suddenly I am obsessed with Puglia. The crystal clear water is absolutely beautiful and so inviting to swim in!😍

    • Glad it was the perfect way to start the day, lovely Puglia :)

  • Ooh this is such a cool little video! I love it. Well done!

  • THIS is incredible! Wow! It fully gave me goosebumps! I can't wait to watch the whole film!

    • Thanks Ellie, I'm missing to so much! Excited to see your vlog too!

  • Such a fab trailer - I miss our Dominica explorer days!

  • My gorgeous island

    • @Dan Flying Solo great do come again

    • It is incredible and beautiful, so glad to have visited your home country!

  • Speechless 😍😍😍

    • @Louise Slack 🙏🙏🙏

    • Dan Flying Solo can’t wait to see the full length version!

    • WOW RIGHT!?! And this is only like half of it! The full video is taking a while as there is so much I want to show and document :)

  • I can't believe I missed the parade! I was right there that morning and early afternoon.

    • Ahhh. no way! That's such a shame, though it was a beautiful day for doing anything in Edinburgh tbf.

  • Live here and see it all every day! Lucky😎

  • My boyfriend and I are going on this cruise in 2 weeks! So excited! Could you advise on what currency/currencies to bring on this cruise? I’m planning on predominantly bringing Euros but i’m worried that some countries won’t accept it. Thanks!

    • Have an amazing time! Actually, it gets quite confusing as there are a fair few currencies. Norway/Sweden/Denmark/St Petersburg all have different currencies. So Euros are good in Germany/Finland/Estonia. Changing money onboard is an option, or a travel card might be handy!

  • Wow there is just so much to do - love this video Dan! great drone work too ;-)

    • Thank you, certainly plenty of reasons to leave the resorts!

  • Great video Dan! It brings back a lot of memories from last year! Loved all the music too!

  • Beautiful country. Thank you for this.

  • 💯💯

  • Nice work, Dan! Looks super interesting and authentic. Hope to make it there someday!

    • Thanks! Wait until you see the Dominica one, that island is incredible!

  • Now you may take part in a survey - just a few seconds and a few answers: sweatled.typeform.com/to/cMp4uR

  • You missed some of the true foodie places this is tourist stuff, I'm a local.

    • I mean, the whole idea behind this was for visitors who are coming to Edinburgh in two days to be able to see the top attractions, and eat some good grub close by. There is obviously no way you can do all the attractions AND go to all the best restaurants in 48 hours. Some of the places I wanted to include just wouldn't fit in with the schedule, or are closed on certain days etc. If I was doing a two week eating guide to the city it would look very different, and even then I still wouldn't be able to fit all my favourites in.

  • Nice montage and quite interesting video on muscat. Btw your slow mos are dope. Check out my series 'GEMS of Oman' on Muscat too. I hope we can collaborate sometime in future it-tvs.com/tv/video--GnAR0BuDyM.html

  • KOMMAN SEE SCHÖNSE SEE IN EUROPA..ALBANIEN IST WUNDERSCHÖN.I.LOVE ALBANIA❤🇦🇱🍺🍺🍺🍺

  • how to goto the rottnest island and issit possible to stay there one night? How much does the ferry cost?

    • You can take the ferry but I can't remember the cost and yes, there is a choice of accommodation there.

  • We are going on this same cruise in June. Great video! Were the excursions with "Princess" or did you find tours when you arrived at the port? Can we walk around St Petersburg on our own without a visa? Everything I read says you have to be with a tour guide if you don't have a visa. Also, you said the Italian restaurant was your favorite. What would you recommend on the menu? Did you say there were complimentary massages on board?? Any more tips or suggestions for this cruise? Thank you sooo much!

    • Unless you have a Russia tourist visa, you would need to have some kind of tour guide, some tours are available that can be as simple as being taken on a walk, others more rigid. In the Italian restaurant, the best bit was the chocolate ball desert, with all the different layers! Massages aren't complimentary as a standard, but there are lots of competitions on board for various things where spa treatments were some of the prizes, also on certain days they offered 'sample sessions' at the spa for free. Not all of the excursions were with Princess, and in some places like Tallin it's so easy just to get off and walk around, but I'd suggest if you don't want to book with Princess you book with another tour company before hand, so you 100% have it in place for arrival. Have a great time!

  • So many beautiful places in Western Australia
