  • Great test! Thanks!!

  • About apple and "quality" well, visit Louis Rossmann channel and see for yourself!

  • Sounds good. did you have something to do with the creation of the plugin ?? Your name is at the bottom left of the plugin.

  • Check MSoundfactory.... Holy Moly!!!

  • Of course it cannot be 100% automated but imagine (if possible) to set the right parameter in the right moments of the song with the virtual mastering plug ins, we can say that it will get really decent results. If the only problem is the lack of human touch, with the setting i mentioned we can fill the gap between the human-algorithm work. BTW if isn't possible do that cuz every software are total automated we can mix the song part that has to be loud before to do a master. I think we can get really good results, don't forget that we are in the middle of digital revolution guys

  • Fuvking shit music

  • aria and emastr sounds great honestly

  • The human toe can only hear 24hz

  • I remember the last time they hooked me with a "free" plugin. It was the Organic Sibilance plugin, which they stole from Chris Johnson's DeEss, and I had to spend 6 hours getting my V9.6, 9.7, and 9.8 plugins all working again. I'll pass! No more Waves.

  • Fascinating! I thought I could hear some difference but then not really... the phase comparisons were most helpful.

  • OHM FORCE PLUG IN

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • The Mastering Engineer talks too much for my taste.

  • I don't even hear the difference. If there is any, it would be so small that the audience wouldn't give a fuck. lol

  • I thought it was Steven Wilson

  • You're dutch?

  • Love the work you do.. Keep it up

  • Let's Skrillex the Hell out of this!! ahahahhahahaha. lol. Why I subscribed in the first place...that and hearing Darude all the time.

  • Mastering with Jordan Peterson

  • It's like they are trying to do what reason does by providing a "desk at a glance", but in plugin form, but in my opinion it just doesn't work. Where are the solo and mute? I am sure it sounds fine but it would honestly seriously slow DOWN my workflow. Nil interest from my end.. I'll use my DAW mixer thanks and choose my plugins..

  • u sit here! in other words get that coffee away from the desk hahahah

  • Congratz!

  • As a DJ I am very offended, there's was one time I played in the green zone. The plugin is cool, i'll use to make my music sound as distorted as my DJ sets. 🤣

  • People want a GUI that looks like analog stuff because they do not have analog hardware and they desire it so much. Which is the opposite of your case. Marketing responds to this desire, to believe that they will have the sound of the best studios, without having to go in those studios, without even needing the help of an engineer. People are dreaming, you are in the reality of a professional worker.

  • oh Currently we saw a working version for 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒖𝒎 from *TRIXHAX. NET* (del-the-spaces) *the ver..4.18 normally works

  • I had an album from 30 years ago, and the drums were mixed too low volume, and I don't have the master tapes to fix. It bugged me for 30 years that I never had the drums loud enough. So FINALLY, the master rebalance element allowed me to raise the volume of the drums- it was a miracle, and a good example of how this element could be useful.

  • Acustica Audio Tips: 1. Run it on a modern, fast CPU. It's been optimized for that. 2. Make sure you have adequate RAM. 3. A solid state drive helps tremendously. 4. Increase the ASIO/Core Audio buffer size to your audio card. Max it out, this will give the best performance and the maximum instances that your machine can handle. 5. Bounce. Freeze. Commit. Make decisions. Free your CPU and your mix will follow. 6. Reaper is by far the most CPU efficient DAW with respect to the handling of plugins, and it pairs very nicely with Acustica products. 7. Run Acustica plugins in projects set to 96kHz, that is the rate that the analog gear was sampled at. You'll get the best sound and CPU performance as no SRC of the vector files is required. 8. Be patient, the vectors (samples of the gear at each setting) take time to load, they contain a lot of information. 9. Read the manual. There is a lot going on with both the interface and under the hood with these plugins. Many of the plugins house multiple models for each eq/comp/pre etc. 10. Refer to justpaste.it/AcusticaAudioAcquaMasterList to find out exactly what gear was sampled for your Acustica product. 11. Use your ears. 12. Trust no one. PS: The big sale is almost over.

  • 26:30 woo~~!!

  • www.beatskillz.com/shop/slam-dawg/?fbclid=IwAR1qYSYdRMmP0D6UMbVyKVk5kHJ0VpgBkhQlLU7WZhHNXLsLTqfzQbLFY4I Just saw an ad for this on Facebook, the name “Slam Dawg” alone screams Snake Oil but I might be wrong. lol

  • Regarding the update plan policy... it's not nice but understandable to keep the business running... In the beginning I hated it but on the other side I never had any serious technical issue with Waves since version 9, so they are doing their job. Every hobby - including music - has a price, not even talking about if one is doing music as a profession.

  • Waves plugins are very cool and top quality - but you never must buy them for the regular price. Just wait for special deals. I got almost all of them this way. Today I bought the new Abbey Road Saturation plugin + MDMX Distortion, 49$, and chose the REDD plugin as a free plugin (normal price 249$) - pretty good deal. Bezerk was also available for free few days ago. Thx Waves.

  • I think EVERYONE is tired of hearing sandstorm. Time to get a new demo song

  • 10:21 Yes, with my nokia 2.2 (79$) and old airpods!😂

  • How do you record your voice and the sound from DAW in the same time?

  • I’d love to hear this guy’s music. I mean, he seems to have a very staunch opinion on these products as if it’s the be all end all of opinions but what do his mixes sound like?? I think I’d start there before basing my spending habits on what he thinks about a plug-in... also if he does EDM of any sort then I can’t take him seriously at all 😂

  • Decent review.. I'm still using my Fairchild.. I love how it sounds!! Although there are some wonderful compressors available.. Thanks for your review.

    • If we could afford a Fairchild then

  • BØSJØRG!

  • Warren Huart tested this plugin

  • Actually for sale at 413 Euro with Winter-rebate Code MAAT-WinterSale2019

  • Great video mate.

  • I like your videos man. And I like my Pink and Ceil Acustica plugs too. If there is an error, error is human, the same if it is you or Acustica, it can happen. I don't care. Why don't you ask Acustica, they certainely will explain. Peace

  • You're probably one of few youtubers who deserves to sell a merch for all the usefull things you brings. Too many "influencers" with video-type like "YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT THIS BANANA WILL BECOME IN A MICROWAVE" selling merch of themselves. A fckkng merch for this kind of video... Anyway, sorry for my english btw and keep up the good job.

  • 2B is the best IMO. We fully hear the bass, even in the low notes, and it glues well things together. And because I LOVE compression

  • darude sandstorm?

  • What about Soundcloud?

  • Right on Wytse, I prefer the analog version. Support.

  • Waves rule. I need Hanns -G Device.

  • I am disappointed that I missed out on getting it for free.

  • You didn't know Sean from Valhalla and his plugins until now? BIG mistake. He's one of the best, if not THE best DSP guy in the game ... he could charge 200 bucks for every single one of his plugins at it would still sell. But he's like: "Naah, 50 is fair." I love that guy.

  • EXACTLY! ... Subscribing! Yes! I hate these "black magic" plugins for the very same reason you've described. I just wanna know what's happening to my signal. :)

  • I'm actually staying on Ozone 7. I like it a lot. But since then, every new feature is in the overly expansive "Advanced" edition and they charge you quite a big chunk of money for even just updating your Standard license. ...and if you compare Standard 7 to Standard 9, the only new thing is that new stereo spreading algorithm. Not worth the money imo.

  • Congrats Wietse!! (Bit late I know). I'm mostly just reviewing your video's and trying your advice in my studio. Anyway, a great milestone and I hope you'll keep up the work.

  • thanks for the video fam'... appropriate it!!!! really useful comparisons!!! thanks again!!!

  • can anyone hook me up with the routing process to record tidal tracks into a DAW? thanks a bunch.

  • installing this will mess your old version and cracked versions up thats the word on the internet (cannot confirm it because it did not happened to me)

  • Why the Netherlands need this bullshit plugin? It's ok when we germans trust in marketing, but why the hell the Netherlands?! Ok, let me tell you : If you're looking for a broken interface get this stuff free from Waves! And the best of all, you can trash it without (or a very small) CO2 footprint. Nice job, Waves!

  • Need to talk about your denin jacket, do me a favor, mend your hole before you make your review...

  • You need Windows 10 for it !

  • The gone zauwl ;) Nice demonstration.

  • God bless if ur a fan but after ONE review i literally cant stand this hahaha

  • Very good advice regarding plugins in general at the end. Very informative.

  • What are your thoughts on Cubase 10?

  • I like the sound of two bricks beaten on my head at the same time. iLoked? What a joke.

  • I hate these types of vocals (I haaaaraaaaayyt the tyiiiiypes of vocaaaaarells). Such a fad (soooouuuch a faaaraaaiiid)

  • you are quite annoying :)

  • I liked for your reaction to the 3:46 demon voice.

  • Just load the Tape part bud. You dont have to load the whole channel strip.

    • It's like stepping into the cockpit of an aircraft and saying the plane sucks because you didn't go to flight school. Whatever, I sort of wish AA were still a secret (but not really).

  • This plugin is free rite now.

  • Not bad, Can be achieved with a few others or a chain. But simplicity is key rite? .....Rite?

  • Your facial expressions alone were worth watching this for :). I got this for free, haven't installed or tried it yet. It uses some common GUI elements Waves likes to use, so no brainer :). I can think of a few things to try it on. Oh, and, I already have Waves 11, did the WUP last year to it.

  • so u like this better than the echorec

  • It would be interesting to hear with some MUSIC and not synth plastic stuff that sounds clicky anyway... the mastering quality is best compared using very dynamic songs and instrumentalisation.

  • Definitely , The only one that supplied me 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒖𝒎 should be *TRIXHAX. NET* (without-the-spaces) *the v.5.9 * undoubtly works great as always.*

  • 0:00 hahhhh

  • How much LUFS you got on the track mastered by the engineer ?

  • "...and then..fix it on Spotify?!" This got me

  • I am shure the engineer did a great job.. But as always it is impossible to do an honest objective comparison if you know which track you are listening to. Listen to them blind and THEN pick the one you like best. That's what I am curious about. Again, not to put anyone or anything down but to just be objective. Like your channel.

  • Already downloaded, experimented and deleted this useless piece of junk, it’s not good just because it’s free or waves, of course it’s subjective but I have (like most of you) hundreds if not thousands of useless type beasties already, it’s crazy just how many free vsts there are out there and it’s so easy to load up on the junk you might use twice and forget, but there are some must haves out there and this just ain’t one of them, imho, I do like the GUI though

  • Well! Black Friday let me get SSL collection and Gold for less, Black Fri has been berry berry good to me!

    • I own both the Waves and the Brainworx SSL emulations. And the BX version is definitely better. It's been on sale recently for as low as $49 I think. Check it out, sign up on their mailing list if you like it, they're having sales all month.

  • these type of plugins are really meant for a 10 years old who doesn't know alot about mixing LMAOOOO

  • Very informative and entertaining video. Tx. Great job.

  • I would be interested to see your take on iZotope Trash compared to this.

  • more than the plugin, i need the name of that track!

  • how the F*** do you get and install this.. waves are such a bunch of c***

  • isnt the attack on 7 actually the shortest and 1 the longest? or how was that again

  • Says it's not supported by windows 8.1 however i have it installed on my system and the VST3 version seems to be working just fine for me in Ableton Live 10.1.5

  • I mix in the Green as I also study Sound Design as well as Electronic Music Production and Recording Engineering

    • What does mixing in the Green mean?

  • berxerk

  • Can it be used as a soft clipper?

  • dif runce ez

  • ANYTHING WITH THE WORDS "CLA" IS AUTOMATIC SNAKE OIL.

  • very musical,like Moog minifilter

  • watching this on sunday... still black...

  • i never got the mail

  • Similar to Stillwell Bad Buss mojo, bare bones waveshaping.

    • Yup. Exactly what I was going to post too. Bad Buss Mojo does waveshaping and compression. Not as fancy as this, but much easier to install with a forever free fully functional demo.

  • Hi Wytse! It's Ralph from Fabfilter. Are you trying to get in touch? Please drop me a line at ralph@fabfilter.com.

  • Fatboy slim. Get phat quick.

  • I never received a free plug in from them, only a 50% off offer advert. It has been 36 hours already and zip so far.

  • For some reason, I find this guy hilarious.

  • Hi! Your videos are pretty helpful but just have a little suggest. Can you turn on the English subtitle for all videos? I am Taiwanese, some times need a subtitle to understand what are you saying. I think other people like me will happy to see you do it! Thank you!
